Dear Lane, Dan, Justis & Radigan,
Thank you again for hosting me yesterday! We had a good trip home though around Pueblo we both decided it was time to be out of the car. The baby sang me a few tunes over the following hour and was glad when the car stopped.
I wanted to say that you did a great job socializing him and you would never guess he started out as a timid character. He greeted my Mother like a long lost friend and has been bubby and outgoing from the moment he arrived home. He loves carrying around his toys and shaking/pouncing on them. He's met almost all of the female Weims in the house and got the obligatory disinterested nose-twitch from our 12-year-old matriarch Sophie. Hazel (4) and Anna Mae (8 1/2) find him fascinating and have adopted him. Anna was guarding him this morning and Hazel is cleaning him up and herding him around like he's HER baby. He was quite happy with the attention ! The rest were content to stay out of his way, they're schooled in what sharp puppy teeth feel like !
We've settled on a name, Nicco, short for Niccolo. When he's registered it will be Cerca Trova Niccolo Massimiliano (meaning "the most greatest valliant one"). I have a web page set up to host his photos and some links, it's http://nicco.foxfireweim.com . I know I will be taking a ton of photos over the weekend and will keep it updated with them . Talk to you soon!Amy
just a quick note letting you know I took Nicco to the vet to the vet for his 72hr checkup and he was the star of the show. They had to add "Bracco Italiano" into their breed database. He has really settled in and the Weims are really entertained by his punky little attitude. I have more picts up on his page...
