Good Morning Lane I got back to New York about 10 PM new York Time. No problems . The puppy was great. I had a two hour lay over inDenver so I gave her some food. It disappeared in a flash. On the plane she started crying very loud so I gave in and picked her up. She slept in my arms the whole way home. I wish I was single, no better way to meet women than traveling with a pup. She is getting used to her new surrounds. She walks around the house whining just wanting to be in someone’s arms. Just wanted to get back to you. I will keep in touch and send photos soon. Hello Dan and Lane. Just wanted to let you know how wonderfully Siena is doing. Today at the Vet she weighed in at 17 lbs. We still have her on Canidae and since she is eating and tolerating well I see no need to change. Her disposition is incredible. She is full of energy but a gentile pup, unlike any other I have owned. In the house she doesn’t act like a gun dog at all!. She already sits, stays and comes to verbal commands both in and out of the home. She loves to retrieve to hand everything but quail feathered dummies. I guess I will be working on that next. I took her for a long walk in the woods this past weekend. She is quartering naturally and understandably not venturing more than 25 yards from me. She is getting used sounds and will tackle all terrain. Sand, mud, snow, ice covered streams, downed trees, you name it. I haven’t had the opportunity to put her on any live birds yet, probably I will not be able to get to it until march. Once again thank you. As soon as I get some good outdoor pictures I will send them on to you. Right now I just have the typical puppy pics Helen has taken. Write to you soon. Joe Greco |
